Academics

Core Curriculum

SMMS offers a progressive curriculum where students are viewed as unique individuals with different learning styles. SMMS derives its curriculum from Hamilton County’s Standards which are based on a performance assessment model. This means that SMMS students learn not only to perform well on test but also, and more importantly, to use the skills and knowledge they acquire in real-world situations. Instruction encourages success for every student no matter what it takes.
